Urea

Urea is known for its ability to reduce itching and its remarkable ability to increase the skin’s moisture content. Urea supplies the skin with moisture and protects it from dehydration. It is part of the NMF (natural moisturizing factor), supports the absorption of other active ingredients, is anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-pruritic and has a keratoplastic effect (the stratum corneum becomes smoother).
